2017 Farm Tour

Join Clean Lakes Alliance for our annual Farm Tour! This year, we’ll have the chance to tour Endres Berryridge Farm — home base for Clean Lakes Alliance Community Board member and Yahara Pride Farms chair and co-founder, Jeff Endres.

We’ll start off the tour in partnership with the North American Manure Expo. Highlights will include:

• A tour of the Endres dairy manure composting operation and a discussion of the costs and water quality benefits
• A tour of an alfalfa field that has had compost applied, including a demonstration of compost application
• A tour of the Endres heifer barns, including a look at the recycled compost/sawdust bedding

Stick around for an informal Q&A with Clean Lakes Alliance and Yahara Pride Farms to follow the tour.

When you register, please select one of the following pick up locations:

• Olin Park (Downtown Madison, Olin-Turville Court)
• Yahara Heights County Park (NE Madison, Catfish Court)
• Rex’s Innkeeper (Waunakee, Century Ave)

There will be a bus shuttle to the farm location. No parking at farm – contact us if you need to make special arrangements.
