About the Festival
The Frozen Assets Festival is a free, family-friendly event held at The Edgewater and on frozen Lake Mendota. With indoor and outdoor activities available all weekend long, there are plenty of ways for you and your family to enjoy our lakes!
Past no-cost activities include ice skating, sleigh rides, face painting, ice science, and more. Don’t forget the free s’mores and hot chocolate!
Friday, February 1st, 5 – 8 p.m.
Saturday, February 2nd, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Sunday, February 3rd, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
A schedule of available activities throughout the weekend will be posted closer to the event.
Is there parking available?
Event parking will be available at The Edgewater for $5. Participants may also find street parking or use other City of Madison parking ramps
Can I volunteer at this event?
