Finance Manager
Brian joined Clean Lakes Alliance team in 2021 as the Finance Specialist. His role includes maintaining of records and financial transactions, collaborating with management to gather, analyze, and report financial information, post transactions to and maintain the general ledger, and provide audit support. He also assists the organization for any event-related needs.
Prior to joining Clean Lakes Alliance, Brian was the Accountant for Madison Area Technical College Foundation. During his time there he handled all the financial records and transactions as well as assisted in the conversion to a new financial accounting software system and the integration of a newer cloud-based CRM. He worked with the college implementing a new Emergency Grant program for students that need help with living expenses to stay in school as well the Scholars of Promise program that provides scholarships to any student in the program that could not otherwise afford college. He also assisted in the maintaining of records for the college’s Capital Campaign to raise funds for the building of the new Goodman South Campus and the Goodman Sports Complex.
Brian grew up in Monona and enjoyed boat and ice fishing on all our local lakes as well as all the parks Monona had to offer. As a kid he volunteered to help with the building of the Monona Dream Park and ushering for the Children’s Theater of Madison. He currently is a co-owner of a lake business in McFarland that is now a Lake Partner with Clean Lakes Alliance. In his free time, he enjoys playing music and spending time with friends and his kids and his many pets.
