As a donor to the Conserve An Acre program, you will directly fund one or more acres of conservation practices on farmland in the Yahara Watershed. For every acre of buffer strips or cover crops you sponsor, you will keep a pound of phosphorus runoff out of our waterways, equivalent to 500 pounds of algae.
