The committee ensures that Clean Lakes Alliance and the Renew the Blue Council communicate with clarity\, consistency\, and impact—building awareness\, trust\, and action across the community to protect and improve the Yahara Watershed. \nCommittee ChargeThe Marketing & Messaging Committee is responsible for developing and advancing a unified voice for lake and watershed protection while supporting strategies that inspire awareness\, stewardship\, and collective action. \nThe committee will: \n\nDefine and refine key messages that resonate with diverse audiences and build broad public understanding of watershed issues and solutions.\nTranslate complex watershed science into clear\, accessible\, and compelling communications that connect people to the health of our lakes.\nSupport brand leadership\, marketing\, storytelling\, and communications efforts that elevate the visibility and impact of Clean Lakes Alliance and Renew the Blue.\nIdentify effective communication channels and engagement strategies that move people from awareness to meaningful action.\nStrengthen public trust\, stewardship\, and long-term community engagement by creating clear pathways for participation and sustained involvement.\nSupport advocacy visibility and thought leadership by amplifying shared priorities\, partnerships\, and collaborative action across the region.\nReinforce the importance of reducing phosphorus\, E. coli\, and stormwater runoff while promoting practical solutions that improve water quality.\nReview key advancement and engagement metrics\, providing strategic guidance to ensure continuous improvement\, accountability\, and measurable impact.\n\nSummary DescriptionThe Marketing & Messaging Committee serves as the strategic bridge between communication and engagement.
